Book 3 in the Alpha Mountain series, and I’m loving each one more and more! This has Kennedy & Quincy tangling with each other, past and present. Takes awhile before their truths come out, but it’s so worth it. Not to mention all the danger and action along with these two combustible energies, and you’ve got a read you can’t put down!

Ever since Hero I’ve been waiting impatiently for Kennedy’s story and I finally got it. Let me say, it was so worth the wait. I was already crazy about him but I didn’t realize how amazing he really is. There is so much more to this SEAL playboy than anyone knows. I am totally jealous of Quincy. I admit it. Although, to be honest, she’s so perfect for him. Underlying the love story the running plot of trying to find the rest of the bad guys and finally clear Ford’s name continues. Don’t worry if you didn’t read either of the first two books. You’ll catch on.

I instantly fell in love with Kennedy in this book. He's written as a bit of a playboy and someone who doesn't take things that seriously, unless on the job. But the man has layers...and Quincy is about to discover that. It seems weird to use their "work names", I guess you'd call them...but I also can't use their real names, either. I adored the banter between these two, not to mention Kennedy's nickname for Quincy. They just recently became teammates in Alpha Mountain Security, but they knew each other when they were in the military...so I guess this is their second chance. The team is also still trying to clear Ford's name, so that underlying mystery is still going on; so it'd be a good idea to read this series in order, in my opinion. Then again...I like to read ALL series in order, lol. Kennedy and Quincy are my favorite couple (at least so far), but I can't wait to see who's story is going to be told next. Will it be Taft? Or are there other teammates of the guys waiting to come to Alpha Mountain? Time will tell...
