It got nearing to the end with a cliffhanger. Just when it started to get most intriguing

Such a great and interesting storyline!

Ok, I tried really hard to get into this book. However, the male lead is seen in sexual assault and near rape experiences repeatedly with the female lead and seems to enjoy them. This made it incredibly hard to read, cringey, and caused me to hate the main characters. I feel like no mentally sound adult should be encouraged to find this behavior appropriate outside of a short lived bedroom fantasy. Also, the writing style this author has is rather choppy and hard to follow. The one positive note I have is that the world this author is trying to create has the potential to be awesome (which is why I tried so hard to like this).

No words to busy trying to get to the second book!!!!

girl you need an editor and a deep look inside yourself for why you think it’s cute to joke about men wearing lipstick to murder people and make it seem like being possibly gay or femme is a weakness. not to mention the constant sexual assault and near rape by the lead male. pathetic

I’m not a good reader! I just never took a interest in it! I couldn’t set this down! I read the whole book in 2 days! I can’t wait to start the next one!

Absolutely loved the characters! Fantastic read! It took me a bit to really get into it since it’s not my usual read but dang was I glad I kept reading because holy heck was it worth it. Definitely left off with questions and have to read the next book. I loved the twists and turns and trying to figure out what was going on. Normally not my thing but this one definitely kept my attention until the end. Very nice sexual chemistry and scenes well written. Not overly done or sexed up like some but very well worn compared to many I have come across. I love syn’s sass! I can’t explain ryder. He just lures you in. Let’s just say this writer did a really great job with her writing these two and their chemistry. Not sure how else to put it. Loved it!
