Like the song says, "I'm just wild about Harry..." Jo Nesbo takes us on another emotional roller-coaster in this taut, tightly written thriller. Since Harry Hole became a part of my life, I have laughed, cried, sweated, trembled, begged, and feared what was to come after the turn of a page. I swore at Jo Nesbo for breaking my heart, swore off Jo Nesbo for taking my friends, and swore an oath to Jo Nesbo that I will read every word he ever writes ... I am " just wild about Harry, " and wilder for all the works of this excellent author. Jo Nesbo leaves me waiting for more, and more...

I don't know. Bad writing? Bad translation? Whatever, entire sections of this book are incomprehensible. Conversations make no sense, scenes change abruptly and illogically, and it's sometimes even hard to tell who or what is the object of the text. I enjoyed Phantom; it's going to be a struggle to finish Police.

A classic thriller from start to finish. Enough twists to keep you thinking along the way. A solid inspector Hole novel.

Each Harry Hole novel has roped me in; but none quite like Police! The best yet!

I loved this book - many twists, turns and surprises. The author skillfully leads the reader down one path ... and then avoids the next steps you were expecting. Very enjoyable & highly recommended!

The best book yet

My god, this book is very stressful. I was torn, it's definitely a page turner but, on several occasions I was afraid to see what happened to some of my favorite characters. You are going to lose some friends. Just be prepared!!
