OMG, you have got to read the entire Banished Saga ! I just finished reading Book 7, Resilient Love, & I can’t wait for Ms. Flightner to release Book 8! The continuing stories of characters from the early 1900s through early 1918 take place in Boston & Montana, as well as Washington, DC. The families & friends are heartwarmingly real, their trials & loves revolve around the fight for women’s suffrage & the plight of men in copper mining. The author’s research paints life during those years & brings it to life, as if you were there watching it all unfold! Her descriptions of the cities, transportation & fashions of the period are exemplary. I guarantee you won’t be able to put these books down, especially if you love history & historical novels. Very disappointed that I have to buy another book to read more of the story. Authors should be able to tell a story in one book. If they want to write a series they should end one set of main characters and start with another set from the first book when introduced.

First book by this author I've read. Well written, very good story, excellent characters. I had hard time putting it down & will get the next book to see how the characters fared. I love novels like this dealing with earlier times & how those before us paved the paths we take for granted.
