This diary contains so much deep information on how to be closer to Jesus, through the firsthand experience of St. Faustyna. A wonderful addition to anyone who wants to delve deeper and know more about the Divine Mercy Novena, Chaplet, and Devotions that are all contained in this Diary. A must have.

The first time I heard of Saint Faustina was hearing about the Divine Mercy novena and chaplet. At first I didn’t know that she was the founder of the devotion but she was. After reading the book, praying and meditating on the Divine Mercy novena and chaplet. I’ve come realize that this devotion means a lot to me. A couple of times I tried praying this devotion every day and sometimes I got a chance to pray but other times I couldn’t because I be very easily distracted by some secular reasons. But either way, nothing has stopped me from praying. This Divine Mercy novena and chaplet starts every year from Good Friday to the second Sunday of Easter known as Divine Mercy Sunday. In the midst of the chaos of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Divine Mercy novena and chaplet brought me comfort and consolation. When I started creating my own Divine Mercy prayer list. I wrote on the list was for the Covid-19 virus to cease to exist and become less of a threat. Which so far is now becoming less of a threat. And the other thing I wrote on my divine mercy prayer list was for my friend Gabriel Carpentieri who suffers from Crohn’s disease. And I pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will have him miraculously cured, healed and recovered. Amen. Jesus, I trust in you.

By reading a little a portion of this book daily has helped me grow in holiness. Our Lord is so patience and always ready to forgive. Thank you, St. Faustina, for your perseverance, love and sacrifices. Pray for us and help us to trust in Jesus more and more. Jesus, thank you for giving us Your Mother, The Saints and Angels to guide us. “Keep me, O Lord, in a recollected spirit.”

This book has allowed me to make huge spiritual transformations, to trust in God and conform my life to His teaching. I thank God for sending this wonderful little example, sister Faustina, to help bring His message of love and undeserved forgiveness to the world.
  • Boring.

A quick summary? This book is entries about Jesus. That’s it. No climax, build up, charcter development, nothing. It’s just a girl ranting about how “her spouse” Jesus is great. TL;DR: This book is extremely repetitive.
