This book was just what I needed. I love a good, hot BDSM read. This book is packed with heat and erotica and a good story. Of course it's very heavy on the erotica, so if you are looking for a real deep story, this may not be for you. I absolutely loved getting lost in Chloe and Simon's passion as Simon taught Chloe what it was like to be a submissive. Chloe and Simon have a history since Simon dated Chloe's sister, Simon knows that he can't have a future with Chloe, but that he will show her safely what it's like in the BDSM lifestyle. Chloe has always wanted Simon, so when she gets this chance with him, she leaps at it. She wants to be his future. When Simon finds himself with faced with the decision of turning over Chloe to another dominant or claiming her for himself, he is torn with what to do. I loved that he faced his past so that he could have his future. Of course there are things that I wish I would've had closure on. Chloe and Cassie's relationship was one thing I was hoping would have had a little bit more closure. I thought the group of friends were great and I loved seeing Haley and Jensen again. This was the perfect read for my frame of mind.

I give this book 3.75 stars....... I loved the plot and the concept of the story and I loved that Simon was just an average guy. It made him more intriguing and oh so sexy. I felt things were repeated to much and other things that were brought up never got answered or mentioned again. I enjoyed the characters but struggled a little with the connection. I love Stacey Lynn's other books. But I just haven't been able to connect with this series.
