Great book. I got it for my husband who is a practictioner but wanted the book to know there skills needed for the belt tests. Very well laid out. Had the skills broken out by level. Not a replacement for practical work but good augmentation.

Great book that breaks down the basics of and is organized in accordance with both the Levine and Whitman programs and ranking. Very informative for those just curious and is also a great supplement to training with a certified instructor.

Good stuff! I learned a mixed style from guys who did things overseas and I'm pulling out of that to teach and this book is fantastic. I know another instructor who uses the same. Highly recommended, but not a replacement for 1o1 or small group classes.
  • Great guide here.

Great book. It’s not easy to remember all the things you learn in class. This book is perfect to jog the memory to properly practice at home.

I bought this book as a reference to the classes I am taking. I use it as a reference guide to some of the vocabulary used in class. All moves are illustrated and it does what I bought it for.
