After her death, he rediscovers her journals and is faced with a decision: follow the clues in the journals or dismiss them and return to his job as a police detective? He decides to follow the clues that lead to a quaint and colorful coastal Oregon town. Unwittingly, a charming shopkeeper is thrust into his quest for answers.
