Heartthrob takes on a journey into the lives of Nate and Harlow who were high school sweethearts. As teenage lovers, they did have their share of issues but one devastating night crushed their relationship. This story keeps you intrigued with vivid scene descriptions, emotional and happy moments, sensuous passionate romance and a happy ever after that is well deserved. Ten years later Nate is a hunk actor, Harlow is stunning, an actress and ends up on the same film as him. Harlow has never watched any of Nate's movies the pain too great. Now facing each other and having to work together memories of their relationship crash down on them. They are both shocked to their core when reunited. The two have always argued; Nate not finding the right words to express his feelings and her sharp mouth always stinging like a bee. The two still love each other deeply, but how will they find a way to get past the ugliness of their past to have their happy ever after? Impressive rekindled love story with a bit of reality. I loved how the author portrayed Nate and Harlow; their maturity finds a way to stay together. Their romance is blazing hot, and it is filled with respect and much devotion. The backstories give the reader insight to the characters. The author does show that communication and letting go of the past is pivotal in long lasting loving relationships. I loved Nate and Harlow together; though they had issues they were a perfect couple. I found this to be a most gratifying read and {of my own volition without any stipulations, I reviewed an advanced copy.) Without any hesitations, I recommend this read.
