This started off very slow and not much action, looking forward to book 2.

Hot and steamy right from the start. I love the humor and the suspense

Show Stoppers book 1 is a thrilling but playful start to a new budding relationship between two people. The chemistry is just starting to build between boss & bodyguard. Can’t wait to read how this relationship develops further!

I loved it! I really want to know why she is scared and how will they get together! There relationship even has a real life feel to it. I love it.

The story is short. The lack of background on the story makes it hard to understand. The cliffhanger makes me want to read the rest of the series ASAP!

Sadly, this book ended way before any of my questions were answered, so I’m excited to continue reading the story! A hidden secret is always exposed, and I can’t wait to find out what it is.

Title: Show stopper Author: Amy Brent Vendor: Apple Books The story line: girl in trouble, girl needs bodyguard. The book starts off with the heroine (Bridgett) having sex with someone other than the hero. There’s no real intro on the characters at this point. This scene is all well and good but it quickly moves on to the bodyguard arriving for his first day of work. At this point, we have no idea why Bridgette needs a bodyguard so It seems a bit of an abrupt transition . Unless there was some relevance to the sex scene which we don’t know about yet, I’m not sure what the point of it was. I also thought it was odd that she hired a bodyguard (Thomas) but refused to tell him what it was he was guarding her against. I understand that’s it’s setting the story up but at the very least, she could have giving a general reason (ex: there was an attempt on my life or I have a stalker etc). The book is very short, doesn’t tell you much except they are attracted to each other and Thomas has a daughter he loves. And then it ends on a cliffhanger. The reader is given so little that you absolutely have to read the next book if only to see the characters develop. I think there’s potential here, but I would have to read more to know for sure.

Boring

This is a hell of a teaser drawing you in just enough for hook you and making you want to know more. Definitely got my interest piqued! Can’t wait to read the rest!
