Delightful writing. The author has a really comfortable storytelling style with his main characters coming across like old friends who don’t disappoint. The reader’s main challenge is not to go running off willy-nilly to purchase the next installment as soon as it drops.

A perfect summer mystery read. I laughed out loud, while still solving along and eager for each page turn. I am grateful to these characters for being both easy to know and love, and for being so truthful about age, and fear, and life. There is dignity here; also, a witty and worthy mystery.

This series is sooooo good. Well written. Dry humor. Very funny. Great plots. Love the characters so much. They draw you in and you want to know them. I very highly recommend these books. SUPERB!

This book is a delight, as was Mr. Osman’s first in this series. Wonderful characters, engaging mysteries, and more than a few laugh-out-loud moments. I cannot recommend this read too highly! My only complaint is the wait between books - please hurry!!!
