    From the beginning to the end this endearing story paints hope and romance in a post-apocalyptic world; where everyone is just trying to survive and rebuild. Following Aaron and Zoe separately then where they meet is entertaining. Slow romance and action. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • Journey to a better place

    This is the second book in this post apocalyptic romance series. In it we see a little of what life can be like when people give in to the darker urges and look out only for themselves rather than join together for the good of all. It’s not all doom and gloom but it does show a bit more of the darkness that came about after the apocalypse. This is the story of Zoe and Aaron. They are part of a hub/ oasis that is shutting down as the leaders have abandoned it. Zoe and her friend Stella plan to head to the Purple Oasis as Zoe’s sister is there and she’s heard good things. The issue getting from one place to the other. As the two girls are leaving they run into Aaron who’s also going they know him from before and ask him if he wants to journey together. Safety in numbers and all that. After they reach the Purple Oasis they are able to see some sort of normalcy again. And thus the possibilities for other things besides survival are present. An excellent blend of dark and light elements. I liked that the story starts out in another hub and we not only see it and it’s dysfunction but we also got a glimpse of the greater world through the journey Zoe, Stella and Aaron take from there to the Purple Oasis. A big of insta love vibe which I think fits with the whole post apocalyptic world. Really good story!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • A quick and easy read

    It’s odd to think of a post-apocalyptic story as being “light”, but this one is. Zoe and Stella are leaving a failing community and heading for a new one, the Purple Oasis. They meet up with Aaron and the 3 of them travel together. Over the course of the book Zoe and Aaron are attracted to each other and eventually start dating. There are some sub-plots that I suspect will show up in future books. I picked up this book when it was part of a giveaway and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    I enjoyed this story by Laura Greenwood. I enjoyed the interactions between Zoe and Aaron. They live in the same oasis that is failing. Zoe and her friend, Stella are leaving when they bump into Aaron. They all went to high school before the world collapse. They agreed to travel to another oasis together. When they reach the Purple Oasis where Zoe's sister is, they decide to explore their feelings for each other. Will they find happiness together?   • Live in the post-apocalypse

    This world is broken and now most people live in communities that are gated and guarded… the in between is dangerous. In this story three people, Zoe, Stella and Aaron are leaving one community for another. This new place has people from the girls past… Aaron is asked to come along and the adventures begin! It’s a simmering romance but sweet and perfect for YA types. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    Another story set in the the future with a paranormal clean twist. This is a quick story where Zoe and Aaron reconnect and end up at the Purple Oasis. Was a quick cute funny story that made me smile.
