First published by Gustav Stickley in 1901, The Craftsman magazine was Stickley's instrument for promoting the Arts and Crafts Movement, which he termed "Craftsman," in the United States. The magazine also advertised furniture, house plans and other products for the home designed and produced by Stickley, as well as articles on architecture, art, design and crafts.
