In 1988, a woman went about her busy routine at a resort hotel in Hawaii, a priest rued his inability to bring inmates to the Sacraments in New Jersey and in a prison yard in Tennessee, a hardened convict serving his fifth bid was brought to his knees in a St. Paul like conversion. This is the true story of their unlikely meetings, their spiritual journeys and the incredible gifts of mercy that only God in His wisdom can arrange. As He sometimes does, His intervention came through the gentle hand of Mary, the mother of Our Good Lord. There has not been a final pronouncement about the events in Medjugorje, however, it has affected each of us. Spiritually, Medjugorje is the crossroads where we met.
