Description

Terry Goodkind, the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the enormously popular Sword of Truth novels, the basis for the TV show The Legend of the Seeker, has forged another masterful installment with Faith of the Fallen, pitting Richard Rahl and Kahlan Amnell against threats to the freedom of the world that will take them to opposite ends of the world to defeat the forces of chaos and anarchy.

Emperor Jagang is rising once again in the Old World and Richard must face him, on his own turf. Richard heads into the Old World with Cara, the Mord-Sith, while his beloved Kahlan remains behind. Unwilling to heed an ancient prophecy, Kahlan raises an army and goes into battle against forces threatening armed insurrection in the Midlands.

Separated and fighting for their lives, Richard and Kahlan will be tested to the utmost.

Another great book in the sword of Truth series. It perhaps is the most important in all the series. It depicts a struggle of good vs. evil, the value of human life, and the harsh consequences should mankind fail to use their mind for rational thinking, and instead rely on wants and wishes.

Greatest book I have ever read by far.
  • Sooo preachy - ugh!

If you want to read someone's repetive preaching on their world view, this is the book for you. Author spent so much time on his soap box, he forgot a little thing called plot. Actual story could have been written in 25% of actual pages used - rest was horrible Sunday sermon.

This is my favorite by far in the whole series it goes seriously deep into the real meaning of what Richard stands for. I love this book. And I suggest you read it.

By far my favorite book of the series. The only problem with this book was during the "unveiling" chapter, I could hardly read the screen. < Decio turns his head back and yells out to his Kahlan > "I was NOT crying! The chapter was visually defective!!" Savor this one my friend..
  • Best book in the series.

This book is by far the most powerful in the series. The climax of this novel can easily rival and of the best in the Fantasy genre. Gets better with each re-read.

This book is one of the better installments in the sword of truth series in my opinion. I don't want to mention anything specific because in worried about giving away any surprise parts but I will say it is definitely worth reading. Of course, it is not recommended to be read by itself, go through the whole series, it's great!
