PRETEND I'M YOURS

I'm a twenty-two-year-old virgin. Tonight that changes. I thought my first time had to be magical. The perfect date. The perfect place. The perfect guy. I thought I wanted to be in love. But now, I'm desperate. I'll take any guy as long as he's decent looking and treats me well, at least for the night. Turns out Mr. Perfect isn't so hard to find. He's hot, dreamy, and filthy rich. And he wants me. Sex with him is going to be better than I ever imagined. He's going to ruin me for all other guys. I know that it is just for one night, but it doesn't matter. I'm happy to get my perfect night. One night isn't enough, for either of us. Because Mr. Perfect just fake proposed to me. And he wants this proposal to last a lot longer than one night. Will you pretend to be my wife?

PRETEND WE'RE OVER

I’m not looking for a date. I’m definitely not looking for a husband—just one night of passion. I’m in Vegas, after all. And what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. So how did I end up with a giant rock on that finger, you ask? Your guess is as good as mine. Now I’m stuck fake married to the biggest self-centered jerk I’ve ever met. We agree to keep the charade going for six months to protect our pride and dignity. We have six months to convince everyone we aren’t meant to be. Should be easy. I’m sweet, kind, fun Millie. He’s cynical, self-absorbed, loner Sebastian. We don’t belong together. Convincing everyone we’re married is the easy part. Convincing everyone we’re over—that’s proving more difficult. Convincing myself that we’re over is proving hardest yet. I just have to remember that it was all pretend from the start. We were never together. Pretending we’re over is just going back to my life before. But what if I don’t want to keep pretending? Pretend We’re Over is a standalone fake marriage spinoff featuring Sebastian from Pretend I’m Yours.

PRETEND YOU’RE HER

I'm not a stalker; I just don't have a plan. At least, I don't have a good plan. But I need to speak to Boden—my child’s father. I’m in over my head and I need him to step up. But the second he spots me, he runs.

I chase after him, but instead of catching Boden I run face first into a stranger’s chest. Turns out the stranger has an interesting proposition for me that might just fix all my problems.

All I have to do is pretend to marry him…

This is a 3 book collection of steamy, fake marriage romances.

I am a huge fan of author Ella Miles and try to read all of her works. This boxset takes us into the lives of 3 couples who each enter into fake marriages for very different reasons. The stories are all unique for each couple. The drama, chemistry and finding that forever person although it starts out fake. Entertaining and spicey. Love this author. Ella has a wonderful way with words in everything she writes. These three stories are about handling your issues with fake marriages. Each are different in their own ways but all are great. Secrets and suspense. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Each story in this set follows a similar theme. That’s where the similarities end in my opinion. Each story is rich in detail and in the depth of storytelling. I loved the scenes which were captivating to read. I loved the drama surrounding the characters. I loved the characters though a couple of them were not my favorite at first. A very enjoyable set.

This series was such an amazing love story! The characters are well developed, and the build-up in the timeline is perfect! How can someone pretend to love another without any emotional involvement? It’s impossible, and you can pretend all you want! True feelings will find their way through the pretense every time!

Pretend: The Complete Series by Ella Miles consists of three books; Pretend I'm Yours (Kade & Larkyn’s story), Pretend We're Over (Sebastian & Millie’s story), and Pretend You're Her (Dax & Oaklee’s story). While each book can stand alone this review is for the complete series. In each book a couple decides to pretend to be in a relationship for various reasons. Pretend I'm Yours and Pretend We're Over have believable characters and believable overall storylines, but I felt as if story pacing was off. Especially in Pretend I'm Yours, where the majority of the story happened in a few weeks, until we come to the point where approximately 8 or 9 months of a year long story are condensed into a couple of chapters at the end. Pretend You're Her falls short in character believability and overall storyline. I find it impossible to believe that not only the man you have been involved with for years (and at one point engaged to) doesn’t recognize you, but that the parents of the person you are impersonating fail to recognize that the person in front of them is not their child. If I had read each story individually, with sufficient time in between, I believe the rating for each story would have been different. But since the series as a whole has noticeable flaws that are accentuated, when read back-to-back, I could not rate Pretend: The Complete Series higher than 3 stars. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

PRETEND I’M YOURS Romance that will turn you into a puddle of goo. Virgin Larkyn is ready to give up her V card to Sebastian, but his brother, Kade, stops it and sends her on her way. But that’s not the last time he’s going to see her. Kade is a multimillionaire and asks Larkyn to pretend marry him for two purposes, to keep Sebastian away from her and to keep all the other women that flock to him for his money. It’s supposed to be an arrangement for one year, but it doesn’t take long for either one of them to start having feelings for each other, but they each hide it behind trash talking to each other. As soon as you start reading this book you will know that it is not fake, that even though Kade is not looking for love or romance or marriage, he just wants to keep all the other women away. Larkyn is falling hard and fast. I don’t want to give anything else away, but you were going to love this book. It’s one of those books that once you start reading page after page you cannot put it down, you’ve got to find out if it’s real or fake and if anything they’ve said to each other matters. Excellent, excellent book. It will definitely have your kindle melting from the heat it puts out. Fabulous. PRETEND WE’RE OVER They could not be more opposite, but they are perfect for each other. Spectacularly written. Incredibly entertaining. I am such a sucker for a great romance, and Ella Miles never disappoints. I absolutely love all of her books. You know it’s going to be fabulous before you even start the first page. What do you do when you go to Vegas for your best friends wedding? You end up getting flat out drunk and marrying the best man. What a shock when they wake up. Neither is the marrying kind, but everybody from the wedding knows it happened. This book is so adventurous and so funny and so loving and so romantic. One page you’ll be laughing and the next page you will be panting with desire. Will they stay married? Will Millie tell Sebastian what she is holding back from him? I love the way this book is written. It’s like you’re right there with them. Loved, loved, loved it. PRETEND YOU’RE HER What a great romance. What a really, really great book. What starts off as being a “stand in” turns in to be the love of a lifetime, a soulmate. Dax has got secrets that he’s not sharing with Oaklee and Oaklee has secrets of her own. Their attraction is off the charts, but Dax is a married man. There are secrets of the marriage and secrets of his previous life. This book is sad, dramatic, but filled with so much love, you think your heart will burst. When it gets down to the end and you understand exactly what’s going on, it will make you so happy. What a wonderful happily ever after.
